iOS Training / Screencasts

So, you like my code examples do you? Yay! As a small quid pro quo, please consider this proposal...

I'm already giving you great code snippets to help you solve immediate problems, but I can do more for you!

If you made it to this page, its very likely that you're a really sharp, problem-focused developer who happened upon my code examples more than once. Its true that lots of developers just pop in from a Google search, grab the code, and leave, uncertain of returning again. I'm truly happy to be helping those folks. But developers like you that come back time and again, well, I love you guys, because you're hungry for more than just pithy solutions. I've got a lot more in store for you, and I'm quite interested in helping you grow your knowledge and skills.

Will you let me take you to the next level?

You may be just starting out or perhaps still slightly uncomfortable calling yourself an "intermediate iOS developer". If that describes you, I've got something in mind for you. Given that you haven't exactly achieved super-human iOS powers yet and you're probably feeling a bit guilty about using the frameworks and language without really understanding them... I think I can ease those concerns and get you up to speed on things really quickly. I'llgive you the knowledge you need to help you push past being just a 'novice' and help you move deep into the 'intermediate' skill-level. If you stick around long enough, we might even hold hands through the early stages of you becoming a card-carrying "expert iOS developer"! How would that sound?

I'll supply tiny, digestible iOS screencasts...

I've got a short video series cooking up to help you level-up your iOS skills and stay current on the iOS stack. But its not quite ready yet. So that means, I'll start to roll out some of that sample material 'soonish', but in the mean time I'll drop you an email occasionally, and I'll share everything I know and learn about iOS. If you're still learning the ropes, this email list will help you get into the right mindset to start your journey from a novice to someone who can charge premium dollars for your services. That's where we'll begin, but thats not the end, not even close. After that, we'll start rolling out the videos, and you'll have a front-row seat. Some of the videos will be laser-focused on fundamentals, and others are going to be broad looks at changes in the market and available tools that are coming out all the time. This is all going to be focused on helping you level-up very fast as an iOS developer, so don't think we're going to include anything that isn't super-duper relevant and directly useful to you.

If all this sounds good, then you should get yourself on the mailing list ASAP. We're still working things out behind the scenes, but our first inclination is to keep enrollment very limited at first. Like, if we have 20 people in the list, that's going to be a crowd. I want the group to be small enough so you can ask questions and use me as a resource.

If you really want this... then, get in while the getting is good!

Alright, let's get started!

  • Everything I know about being an iOS developer
  • How to use new libraries and controls that are constantly coming out
  • My secret Ramen soup recipes to make Ramen tolerable (this is key!) :)
  • The contents of my iOS resource list... which is growing every day
  • Occasionally: The nature of the iOS consulting market (contractor rates, FTE salaries, etc)
  • Occasionally: My thoughts on iOS consulting issues
  • And soon... a short introductory video course to help you get off on the right foot with iOS development.
... and of course, you'll be able to ask me questions, and I'll get you answers. Space is limited. Come on in!

One more thing...

If you're one of the first 50 people to enroll, we'll take your requests for videos... that's right, we'll answer your direct questions with videos showing example code that you can use right away in your projects.

Yeah, thats going to be very valuable, and if you're one of the first 50 onboard, you get this. What do you say?

Are you ready now? Let's go!
